Procedure: Activity 1
- Open ‘Paint’.
- Draw a parallelogram.
- Draw an irregular along the top edge; copy and paste it to the bottom edge.
- Draw an irregular line along the left edge; copy and paste it to the right edge.
- Delete the original parallelogram. Give the picture some colour.
- Copy and paste the tile to make the tessellation.
- FINISH!
Procedure: Activity 2
- Open Microsoft Word.
- Look at the bottom; click draw and then draw irregular lines.
- Copy and paste to 'Paint'.
- Copy and paste then rotate it to a 120౦ angle, repeat.
- Draw an equilateral triangle around your 3 squiggles.
- Copy and reflect the triangle design about one of its edges.
- Copy the double triangle design and rotate it 120o degrees about the point marked on the diagram with a dot, repeat. You made a hexagon.
- Use the hexagon to tile a surface.
